漢式道教男性木雕神像，著官服神像，臉部繪有密佈的白底黑色紋樣。博物館記錄提到可能是閻王派遣司提死者的陰司神靈（死者之神）「范寬」，范將軍。范將軍是臺灣民間熟悉的八爺，通常造型是右手持方牌加鎖鏈，方牌上書「善惡分明」四字，左手持羽扇，身穿黑衣頭戴黑圓帽。但是，這一尊神像的白面黑紋，類似虎紋，並非一般范將軍的造型。

Male religious figure in offical's costume and the face is painted with black pattern. In the original description it is indicated that the figure is "Fan-kuan", the General in the Chinese Hell, responsible for carrying the deads' life. But,the face painting and costume of this statue is very different from the typical "General Fan" in Taiwan.

原記錄記載為「福建閩南」，從形式來看也很有可能是臺灣，當時臺灣還屬於清帝國的福建省。
