錫製方形漢式香爐，頂部鏤空，爐身分為二層，表面雕刻有漢字與線條紋。爐底鑄明「汕頭製造」，頂蓋中央刻有「囍」字，推測此香爐應為婚禮時使用的燻香爐。根據博物館記錄這是1876年隨甘為霖（Campbell, William）牧師器物一起入藏，但物件附著的原始標籤標示「Rev. Maxwell」，也有可能是「馬雅各」牧師收藏品。

A square Chinese incense burner made of pewter in two stages. The top is a piece of metal screen. The surface of burner is engraved with branches and Chinese characters. Few Chinese letters on bottom shows it was produced in Swatow (a city in Guang-dong, China). A big character ‘Xi’ (means ‘happy’) on the center of the lid suggests this incense burner should be made for a Chinese wedding usage. An attached original label marks 'Square pewter incense box of Swatow work from the Rev. Maxwell, Formosa'.
