長方形黑棉布塊製成的短腰裙，布塊上端接縫一段深藍色棉做為裙頭。裙布中央鑲縫一串銀色金屬片裝飾，銀片中心縫飾橘色小玻璃珠，下端並垂墜銅鈴。裙布下側以黃、紅、藍色繡線採平針繡法繡有一圈不規則幾何塊狀紋和花葉紋。恆春地區原住民男子盛裝時搭配短衣穿著的腰裙，經常由三片裙布組成，包含前片、側後片與中央裝飾片。從裝飾部位來看，本件裙布可能是側後片。 原始資料記載，與As.6694之檳榔袋一同穿戴；這件標本應該John Alexander Man船長自台灣採集得來，1870年4月29日納入大英博物館的Christy藏品之一。

Man’s short loin skirt made of black-squared cotton cloth. The lower part of the cloth is decorated with a string of small white metal plates and a row of colorful embroideries. According to the style of the form and decoration, this squared cloth should be the back piece of a loin skirt often worn by the indigenous groups in the southern part of Taiwan. The skirt should have other two pieces of cloth. It was not necessarily to be worn with pouch As.6694; but it could be worn together with 6691 as its upper garment.
